Final Tailgate Farmer’s Market – 5.8.10

This week JW’s Farm will tempt you with spring onions, sugar snap peassalad mix, radishesfree-range brown eggs, swiss chard, fresh cut rosemary, assorted herb plants and native butterfly weed seedlings, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm on the patio of The Common Market, South End (1515 S. Tryon St.)

And while the era of the Charlotte Tailgate Farmer’s Market is coming to an end, JW’s Farm is just getting its second year of farming for market rolling. Summer 2010 is going to be an amazing season of new opportunities, expanded production, and delicious, local food!!!

Starting next Saturday… look for JW’s Farm at the all new Atherton Market !!!

Charlotte Tailgate Farmer’s Market – 4.24.10

Assorted herb and vegetable plants, super salad mix, baby kale, mixed spring greens, radishes, mizuna, swiss chard, and free range eggs. Also, stop by JW’s table for a special Earth Day gift while they last!

Charlotte Tailgate Farmer’s Market – 4.17.10

Dear gardeners, we are now officially past the average last frost date in Charlotte, with a terrific extended forecast in sight and JW’s Farm has lots of great heirloom tomato seedlings and other open pollinated vegetable starts, and even windowsill herb gardens, to get your garden growing! Also this weekend… baby Swiss chard, kale, radishes, mesclun mix, mizuna, curly cress, and first-of-the-season pea shoots (great for salads & stir-fry!)

Charlotte Tailgate Farmers Market – 4.10.10

Whether you have a sizable garden plot, a small patio spot, or just a sunny window, JW’s Farm will have a great selection of heirloom tomato transplants (10+ varieties), open-pollinated vegetable seedlings (cabbage, cauliflower, kohlrabi, peppers & eggplants) and windowsill herb gardens to choose from this weekend… plus fresh picked kale, mesclun mix, radishes, and free-range eggs. Spring has sprung!
